Welcome to the Logis of Mirepoix
In this XVIII century dwelling, where history has left its mark, we offer you an ancestral meal accompaned by our speciality, the fouace (a recipe probably dating back to the middle ages). But what is the fouace? Fouace is a round, thin bread with very little dough. Its crust is soft and unevenly shaded. This bread has the particularity of being hollow, making it easy to fill. The diameter and weight of a fouace varies.
They will be baked in front of you, in our bread oven. Each person cuts his fouace while still hot, filling it with a vareity of food (as described in "Menu"). Let's walk up the steps and push open the doors !
Abundance, music, candles, earthenware crockery, sandstone bowls, you are submerged in a fairytale atmosphere of candlelit dinners. Oh, those party days, when we really let go...! Chantal and Eric in XVIII century and medieval costume, await you for a magical feast with a most unsual meal in a friendly setting!
